Shirley and I express our esteemed gratitude for the most efficient manner that you and your staff dealt with us when we materialized on your doorstep with what could have been a disastrous situation.

 

Both of us were pleased to see an almost immediate staff meeting to sort out the problem and implement measures to rectify and get us on the "road again".

 

You made total strangers so welcome, and extended the use of your facility to park our fifth wheel overnight, allowing us to stay right there while parts were awaited.

 

Joe, you have no idea just how nice it was to deal with you, with the friendly greeting from Romona when we walked in, your son Rob in the manner that he handled the matter once learning of the problem. And then sons Barry and John in the shop and one cannot forget to mention Dan and Tony, although not family, they might as well be. A team to be well proud of!!

We found your ad in the Good Sams Directory when we were driving on 299 from Yreka to Redding and knew we needed brakes and had developed a vibration in the front end. When you're so far from home, we envisioned another horror story about service repair. We called while on the road for an appointment, when we pulled off the freeway and saw this large, easy access, clean shop, we felt better. I had my axles aligned a few years ago here. I had a 30 foot 5th wheel with two axles. They aligned both axles and eliminated the major tire wear I was having. I set up a appointment and they had me in and out in no time. We are now taking my sons trailer in to have one axle done. We live in Sacramento and there is no one, I mean no one that does this type of work here.

Suspension system, Bilstein Shocks and the Safety Plus. We knew, from previous experience, where to go for the best workmanship.

 

You have a very knowledgeable team working with you, with up to date equipment to handle a rig the size of ours. We are very impressed with the work performed, the service, and your up front explanations of cost.

Dear Mr. Pitari,

 

On August 20th, I stopped at your business to have the brakes, suspension, and alignment checked on my 31" HMC motor home. Being from Southern California, I was not familiar with your establishment, its service nor quality of work. Was I in for a very pleasant surprise.

 

Upon arriving at your location, I was greeted with a very friendly hello and handshake by your son, Robert. After explaining what it was I wanted checked, Robert introduced me to your other son, John, who would be doing the testing and any necessary repair work. After another hello and handshake, John took me and the motor home for a lengthy test drive. Upon returning to the shop, he asked me to join you in the service pit so I could watch as you and he checked the undercarriage. You pointed out both the components that were in good shape as well as the ones that were starting to wear. I could not believe the time you and John took examining each and every part and making sure I understood everything. I was also impressed with how clean the work area was. No need to worry about tracking grease onto the motor home's carpet.

 

After completing the inspection, you explained that although the motor home was safe, and nothing was in need of emergency repair, there were areas that should be served in the near future. You suggested some upgrades that would make the motor home drive much more comfortably and easily. While Robert was breaking down the cost of the various repairs, you showed me each new part that would be installed, including cutaway models and demonstrations. At this point, you and your sons had spent more than an hour with me. Yet, I could have said, "No thanks," and driven off without spending a dime. No hard sell. Another pleasant surprise.

 

I had never been to an auto repair garage where everyone was so friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to take the time to thoroughly examine my vehicle, explain the reason each item needed repair, and then demonstrate how the replacement parts worked. I doubted I would find one in the L.A. area. Although the cost of all the service was no small amount, I agreed to have all the work done.  John installed upper control arm shafts, a bell crank, packed the front wheels, lubed the chassis, and aligned the front end. He also installed IPD sway bars and bushings, as well as 4 KYB gas shocks. All of the work was completed by the end of the business day.

 

I have driven the motor home approximately 1000 miles since the work was completed. I have been truly amazed at how much improvement there is in driving the motor home. No excessive swaying when turning a corner, much less vibration within the cabin, and a very smooth drive over bumpy roads. It feels like I'm driving a new motor home. I am very pleased with the results and feel the rewards were well worth the cost.

This is one of most professional service centers I have ever encountered. As I had just completed a trip through Alaska and the last two Lube, oil and filter had not been done by a Workhorse dealer I was concerned that the coach may need a more than normal inspection. I felt this was done. A couple minor items were found and repaired that could have easily been overlooked. When the work was done the tech reviewed everything they had done and explained a couple things that may need to be done in the future. They made us feel like a long time customer, not just someone passing through.
